It really is a long process. From zero offers to 15, the recruiting process has been a difficult one for me and my family. Which schools should we visit? Which schools are best for me?
First off, I want to thank Pittsburgh, Connecticut, Bowling Green, Akron, and all the other schools who gave me an opportunity to play football and get an education at their university. I also want to thank my family, friends, teammates, and coaches. Without all of you guys, this would not have been possible.
I was very proud of our team accomplishments. Obviously, we wanted to win that state championship game, but 14-1 is nothing to hang your head over. I hope that my teammates will be able to keep the legacy of Clairton going and I hope that I will be able to make you all proud as well. I want to thank you into helping me become the man I am today.
With that said, I have decided to end my recruitment and officially commit to the University of Cincinnati to further my academic and athletic career!
I committed to Cincinnati and coach Fickell for a number of reasons. I got the opportunity to play early, I love the facilities, the coaches and the team are cool, and there’s so much to do down there, I just can’t wait to be Bearcat!
I am excited for the direction that UC is headed. I cannot wait to get to Cincinnati and help bring the Bearcats back to a national power. I am excited to meet my future teammates as well.
I hope that you will continue to follow along in my journey, and I know that I will be able to make you all proud.
